Funding Requirements

All programs must be sponsored by an organization that can demonstrate and document that it is providing services that effectively and efficiently assist children in Africa. As a United States incorporated not for profit organization, Direct Change is required to ensure the programs it funds are in compliance with US Government regulations (including the USA Patriot Act and IRS Sec. 501(c)(3) provisions).

Direct Change only funds programmatic activities that directly assist children and will not provide funding to cover core operating costs or organizational overhead. All programs requesting funding must calculate the cost to add an additional child or children to a program. While Direct Change will use that figure to solicit donations, each donor is not matched to a specific child.

Direct Change is currently accepting partners on an invitation-only basis.
